Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1

Many times its very challenging for us to forgive ourselves for mistakes we have made, we replay the events over and over again in our minds which ultimately causes us to feel regret and condemned. The Bible teaches us that God has forgiven our sins, and how important it is for us to forgive others however I could not find scripture on forgiving “self.” But it is clear that if God would strategically send his Son to earth and allow him to die on the cross for our sins that it’s equally important for us to forgive ourselves. It’s actually an insult to God when we do not forgive ourselves we are basically telling God the sacrifice was not good enough. I believe the enemy uses condemnation and guilt to stagnate us, we can’t move forward if we constantly think about the past. Learn to forgive yourself because we all fall short daily. Making mistakes is a part of growth and maturity if we learn from them, accept the forgiveness of God, forgive yourself and walk in your destiny.

You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins. Psalm 85:2

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:11
