My Stability, my Treasure…

He will be the foundation of your future. The riches of salvation are wisdom and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is [your] treasure. Isaiah 33:6 (GWT)

Even when we are lost and don’t understand why situations occur as they do we have the foundation and the stability of God in our lives, leading and guiding us in His wisdom. He is the only sure and constant one with ultimate power and understanding, so even when we can’t make sense of life we have confidence that God holds the present and the future. He is the only authentic treasure that encompasses everything we will ever need.

A Personal Declaration

Psalms 23

Looking back over the years I’ve learned God has never failed me, even in those moments when I did things only he and I knew about.
The LORD is the one who is shepherding me…

I realize he kept me when guilt and condemnation was so heavy upon me I wanted to die.
He revives my life; he leads me in pathways that are righteous for the sake of his name.

Everything I have and will ever need He has provided.
…my cup overflows

I know for a fact the people that hurt me the most served one purpose and one purpose only to make my faith so strong that I would not allow anything or anyone to sever our relationship.
You prepare a table before me, even in the presence of my enemies…

No matter what mistakes I make or how awful someone treats me God will always love me, protect me, and mend my broken heart.
He causes me to lie down in pastures of green grass; he guides me beside quiet waters…You anoint my head with oil…

Every day he shows me something new about his love for me and how wonderful he works in my life.
Truly, goodness and gracious love will pursue me all the days of my life

So to that end I declare to every negative circumstance and attack that nothing will make me believe His covering of love will ever cease.
…and I will remain in the LORD’s Temple forever

Bless His Holy Name!!!

…I have trusted in the LORD without wavering. Psalm 26:1 NIV

As children of God no matter what circumstance we find ourselves our trust in God should grow stronger each day. We should not place our trust in ourselves, others, material possessions, or money, but on the Word of God in every situation: The grass dries up, the flowers wither, but the decree of our God is forever reliable." Isaiah 40:8 NET

I am so grateful I have a true anchor to trust in.

Glory to the Name of Jesus!!!

As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried. He is a Shield to all those who trust and take refuge in Him. 2 Sam 22:31

It is foolish for us to think that we will go through this life without any challenges. Unfortunately many Christians are under the misconception that based on our performance we will not experience difficulty, causing many Christians to have a false sense of who God really is.  Performance has and never will exonerate us from life’s challenges, we are saved by Grace and because of that protected and kept by God. “The word of the Lord is tried,” and being ambassadors of Christ we are living examples of the authenticity of the Word of God based on the goodness and mercy bestowed upon us daily. We will go through challenges, but there is no need for us to fret because God is our “shield whom we can trust and take refuge.”
At some point in our relationship with Christ we have to emphatically believe no matter what “it will always work for our good.”

For by You I run through a troop; by my God I leap over a wall.
          2 Sam 22:30

When we have moments when we feel as if the odds are against us, we have tried everything humanly possible, remained loyal and obedient to God and still our dreams seem so fair away. When we feel like the walls have closed in on us and there is no way out. That is exactly when God comes through and blesses us beyond anything we could think or imagine.
Keep believing by faith, you have been destined for this assignment, ‘for by” God you will run and leap over every obstacle.

For You, O Lord, are my Lamp; the Lord lightens my darkness.
2 Sam 22:29 AMP

Many times we go through life in particular situations feeling like we are walking in darkness because the lesson takes us through hurt, unanswered questions, and surfaces unresolved issues. Although it may FEEL a certain way the word of God assures us that the Lord lightens our darkness. Don’t allow the enemy to make you feel that God has left you alone it’s his conspiracy against you to stop trusting God. In your darkest moments hold on to God’s Word like your life depends on it.
God has declared: “my word that goes forth out of my mouth it will not return to me empty.”

People who tell you you’re standards and expectations are too high don’t really know the God you serve.

“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for Me?” Jerm 32:27 NIV

“For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.” (2 Tim 1:7 NET)

The Word of God tells us that we have been given a spirit of power, love and self-control, so the question is are we walking in the gifts so freely given to us? Operating in any other way is contrary to God’s Word and does not reap positive results. Fear leads to every negative response and reaction possible. In order to see action and positive results we must operate  in the power that has been gifted to us, being determined to complete our God given assignments by responding and reacting in love, while demonstrating  self-control in all things. We serve an awesome God who has ultimately imputed his miraculous power into us so that He will be glorified.

Many people don’t give much thought to how they treat others or how their mistreatment can have damaging affects on a person’s life. Perhaps they are not aware of the importance and responsibility Christ has placed on us to treat others with love. It is so important in our walk with God that Christ stated it as the second greatest command, “to love our neighbor as ourselves.” Individuals that have a healthy self-image normally treat themselves well, in the same way Christ expects us to show love and respect to everyone. If it’s a priority to God as Christians it should be a priority to us. As long as it depends on us let us strive to be at peace with all men.

Good morning my precious Child, be reminded of my love for you today.

Even so Abraham BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS. Gal 3:6 NAS
Righteousness is only obtained through a believers faith based on Jesus Christ. There is nothing we can do on our own to gain it, and we surely do not deserve it. It is by the perfection, holiness, and sacrifice of Jesus precious blood that God looks through Jesus to see us as righteous. That covering blesses us with many benefits reserved for the children of God, David proclaimed in Psalms 34:

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry;
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all;
Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned.

Although we will never obtain perfection in the physical our goal should be to display the faith and qualities of Jesus to show our obedience and love towards a gracious Father.

 To God Be The Glory!!!

Never underestimate the power of God…

Because of your sins you were sold; because of your transgressions your mother was sent away.
When I came, why was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Was my arm too short to deliver you? Do I lack the strength to rescue you? By a mere rebuke I dry up the sea, I turn rivers into a desert; their fish rot for lack of water and die of thirst. I clothe the heavens with darkness and make sackcloth its covering.” (Isaiah 50:1-3)

Standing on the Word, will you join me in faith?
The Lord answered Moses, “Is the Lord’s arm too short? Now you will see whether or not what I say will come true for you.”
(Numbers  11:23)

…If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him. He who doesn't love me doesn't keep my words. The word which you hear isn't mine, but the Father's who sent me. (John 14:23-24 GW)

Many people believe in the existence of God but fail to develop a personal and intimate relationship with Him through the Holy Spirit. Cultivating a relationship with Christ should cause us to engrave his Word into our hearts and minds surrendering total obedience unto God. When we do so Christ tells us that “My Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him.” I can’t think of anything more wonderful than the only true and living God dwelling within us. What an honor and privilege it is to serve and be a child of the only true and living God.

We make a choice to believe but we have a responsibility to keep God’s word.
