Many people don’t give much thought to how they treat others
or how their mistreatment can have damaging affects on a person’s life. Perhaps
they are not aware of the importance and responsibility Christ has placed on us
to treat others with love. It is so important in our walk with God that Christ
stated it as the second greatest command, “to love our neighbor as ourselves.”
Individuals that have a healthy self-image normally treat themselves well, in
the same way Christ expects us to show love and respect to everyone. If it’s a
priority to God as Christians it should be a priority to us. As long as it
depends on us let us strive to be at peace with all men.
