Pride

Whenever we begin to conduct ourselves in a way that gives no consideration or thought to God’s ways or to other people we are living in a danger zone. King Nebuchadnezzar thought even after warning from God and the opportunity to repent of his prideful nature he could continue to conduct his life in a way that gave no acknowledgement for the blessings God had bestowed upon him. Because of this he was brought down to the lowest level, wandering around the wilderness like an animal for seven years. It wasn’t until he lifted his eyes to heaven and glorified God that his sanity was restored. We were “created to make God’s name glorious” not our own. (Dan 4:28-37)
